Blockhead* is husband and wife duo Sarah Bing and Dave Duffin. When Sarah (a ceramic artist who still works and teaches under Bing Ceramics) needed tiles for an epic bathroom she was building, nothing was cutting the mustard. A natural maker and problem solver, she decided to make them herself in the garage. When visitors to the Raglan open studio event started ordering them for themselves, a super fun sideline was born.

4 years later, the tiles are taking over the studio, so the whole shebang is relocating to the new artist precinct at 58 Wallis St, Raglan, Dave is taking the leap out of steady employment and Blockhead’s gonna make a go of it!

(*yes we stole this off music producer Blockhead and also because we are both crazy stubborn, and also because all day Sarah thinks about epic new tile ideas.)
